Azada Batirovna Yakubova is a Candidate of Medical Sciences and associate professor of the department.

Education and career

She graduated from the First Tashkent State Medical Institute in 1995 and subsequently undertook a clinical residency in therapy. From 1999 to 2017 she headed the Nursing division and the Department of Adult Nursing at Urgench Medical College. She later headed a department at the Urgench Branch of Tashkent Medical Academy. The department's 2026 roster lists her as an associate professor.

Research

She defended her Candidate of Medical Sciences dissertation in specialty 14.00.05, Internal Medicine, in 2004. She has authored more than 150 scientific and methodological works, including 1 monograph, 21 teaching manuals, 2 Ministry of Health information letters, 2 improvement proposals, over 50 articles and more than 90 abstracts. She has served on the editorial board of FARS INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF EDUCATION, SOCIAL SCIENCE & HUMANITIES and an academic degree-awarding council in internal medicine.

Mentorship and recognition

Her student Kumushjon Raimberdiyeva won first place at an international traditional medicine olympiad in Tashkent and third place at the 2023 international olympiad in Samarkand. Her supplied biography records the Honoured Physician distinction in 2019.
